So for any of you that haven't heard, Justin and I made a rather large purchase together recently. We will take more pictures after we finish unpacking and getting things in their place, but for now I thought you might like to see our Christmas lights. Since we both have jobs that will keep us here in Page for several more years, we decided that it was more economical for us to invest in a home instead of contending in the overcrowded/overpriced rental market. (Seriously, paying a mortgage, taxes and insurance is around $400 less/month than the average rental in town...) Plus we love our puppies and haven't talked to many landlords that will allow them-- the few that do want giant non-refundable deposits or even a monthly "pet rent". There are many, many more factors including our commitment to eachother, and the fact that we found this house which was a great deal for us!
We are looking forward to spending our first Christmas in our new home soon!
